Misfortune

登舟待便風

月色暗朦朧

欲碾香輪去

高山千万重

In English

  • You board the boat and wait for a fair wind
  • the moonlight is dim and hazy
  • you would drive your fine carriage away
  • but high mountains rise, layer upon layer
Meaning
The poem closes on high mountains piled one behind another. Taken together with the opening, where a boat sits waiting for a fair wind, it suggests holding off on setting out until the wind shifts in your favor.
What to do today
Look again at one urgent plan and see whether it can be pushed back.
A word from the capybara
If the wind will not come, a nap on the boat is a fine way to wait.
