Half fortune

月照天書静

雲生霧彩霞

久想離庭客

無事惹咨嗟

In English

  • The moon shines, and the heavenly script is still
  • clouds rise into mist and colored haze
  • you long for a guest far from the courtyard
  • and sigh, though nothing is wrong
Meaning
The first half is a still night of moonlight and colored haze; the second turns inward, to someone far away and a sigh with no real cause. Half fortune here seems to point at that gap: the world is calm, and the worry is mostly your own.
What to do today
Think of one person you have not been in touch with, and send a short hello.
A word from the capybara
A yawn is much more relaxing than a sigh.
