Great fortune

手把太陽輝

東君発旧枝

稼苗方欲秀

猶更上雲岐

In English

  • You grasp the brilliance of the sun in your hand
  • the lord of spring opens buds on old boughs
  • the planted grain is about to come into ear
  • and still you climb higher on the cloudy path
Meaning
It opens bright and immediate, with the sun held in your hand, and closes on slow growth, seedlings coming into ear and climbing toward the clouds. Great fortune like this is less a finish line than a push to aim one step higher.
What to do today
Write down the next level up from a goal that already feels within reach.
A word from the capybara
If the climb goes above the clouds, it helps to spot a resting place on the way.
