In English

  • While stone and jade are not yet told apart
  • a worried heart turns ever more sorrowful
  • yet the road ahead opens onto a wide way
  • and flowers bloom on the remaining branches
Meaning
A Future fortune poem in the plainest sense: it opens with the gloom of not being able to tell stone from jade, then finds a broad road ahead. Even the leftover branches flower in time, so waiting without hurry is likely to pay off later.
