Fortune

欲政重成望

前途喜亦寧

貴人相助処

禄馬照前程

In English

  • Seeking to set things right, you fulfil hopes anew
  • the road ahead is joyful and calm
  • where noble people lend a hand
  • fortune's horse lights up the way forward
Meaning
The poem's condition is simple: set things in order, and your hopes will take shape one after another. Where helpful people step in, the road ahead is lit up, so putting your affairs straight first and then moving on looks like the right order.
What to do today
Sort out the steps of one task in front of you, then move it one stage forward.
A word from the capybara
With someone lighting the road, a night walk is not so scary.

The explanations added by each temple differ. The poems and fortunes follow an Edo-period printed edition.
