Misfortune

去住心無定

行蔵亦未寧

一輪清皎潔

却被黒雲瞑

In English

  • Whether to go or stay, the heart cannot decide
  • acting or hiding, neither brings peace
  • one bright, pure moon shines clear
  • yet is darkened by black clouds
Meaning
The poem ends with a clear, bright moon swallowed by black clouds. Read with the opening, where you cannot decide whether to go or stay, it seems wiser to leave hard choices for later and simply watch how things develop.
What to do today
Treat any choice you are stuck on as one for another day, and do something else.
A word from the capybara
When unsure, flopping down right where you are is a fine start.
