No. 107
Find one new leaf. That's your bright thing for today.
Clear and bright is when everything is said to look fresh and lively. Even the name sounds cheerful.
one new leaf on the branch, and the whole day looks fresh
Today is Seimei, clear and bright. In the traditional calendar, it is the time when plants sprout and the world looks clean and full of life.
Its name is two of the most cheerful characters in the whole calendar: clear, and bright. The new leaves seem to take that seriously, turning their greenest green right around now.
You don't have to be that green. Wear something a little lighter in color, wipe one window, or find a single new leaf on your way somewhere. That's plenty of brightness for one day.
Try this today
- Wear one light-colored thing
- Spot a new leaf on a tree or plant
- Wipe one window in your home
