Write the worry on paper. Then crumple it.

The traffic jam in your head shrinks once it's on the page.

When the same thought keeps circling, it isn't really thinking, it's looping. You're spending energy without getting closer to any answer.

Grab a pen and paper. Pour the contents of your head out, raw. It doesn't have to be sentences. A list of words is fine. "Work, boss, anxious, mom, unread message, deadline next week." Whatever surfaces.

Look at the page when you're done. Things become visible. "Oh, that's what's been bothering me." "This actually doesn't have to be solved today." Just writing it cuts the problem in half. Then crumple the paper and toss it, or stuff it in a drawer. Mental cleanup, complete.
