No. 17

Waddle forward, like a penguin. That's enough.

You don't have to be fast. Today, waddling counts as the right answer.

A penguin's walk is, generously speaking, awkward. That round body, swaying side to side, makes its slow way toward wherever it's going. Surprisingly, on ice, a penguin actually moves faster than a human can. Even at waddle speed, it's covering real ground.

You are, too. The pace isn't impressive. The strides aren't long. But you haven't stopped. That fact deserves more credit than you usually give it.

Instead of comparing yourself to whoever's sprinting past, take pride in your own waddle, in the small, steady distance you're closing. Today's theme is praising the version of you that's still moving. It really is enough.
