No. 28

Open a window. Trade the air.

When the air in the room changes, the air in your head changes too.

Hours pass. You're still in the same room. The air stagnates, and your head turns kind of gray. You can't pinpoint a reason, just a vague heaviness. Often there's a stupidly simple fix: open a window.

Five minutes, fully open. Cold air, damp air, doesn't matter. As long as something flows. Old air leaves, new air comes in, and the inside of your head exchanges along with it.

This is the zero-cost reset. No air purifier required, no AC settings to fiddle with. Just the window. If you haven't opened one today, do it now. Both the space and your mood get noticeably lighter.

Try this today

  • Open a window for five minutes right now
  • Make opening the window the first thing you do each morning
  • Take three deep breaths in front of the open window
