No. 7

Cats sleep when they want. So can you, today.

Be honest with your sleepiness today. If you're tired, you're allowed to rest.

Cats don't check anyone's calendar before they nap. They find a sunny patch, curl up, and sleep. They wake up, look around, and sleep again. Nobody scolds them for it.

You're allowed something close to that, too. But you keep pushing through the yawns, then judging yourself for spacing out. "I should be more on top of things." That voice is louder than it needs to be.

Today, take notes from the cat. A fifteen-minute nap is a real choice. If your eyes are closing, let them close for a little. Find a quiet corner, curl up, and put the guilt aside. The version of you after a nap is the one who actually gets things done.

Try this today

  • Schedule a fifteen-minute nap somewhere in your day
  • When sleepiness hits, close your eyes for five minutes
  • Get into bed thirty minutes earlier than usual tonight
